Urban Game

The Urban Game is one of my favorite activities every year. I am a member of several teacher groups on Facebook and someone posted this variation of the Urban game that I thought I would share with all of you. It is publicly available on YouTube, and I will insert it in this post. Have fun stressing out your students with this fun activity. I will do it on the first day back from the Winter Break.

  • Thank you  for this video!!! It is so helpful to see the stages of industrialization with background information as the simulation unfolds. I am definitely adding this to my Big History activities. This will be my first time using it. Since the video is 26 minutes long, I expect the activity to take that time plus a debrief session at the end. How do you implement it in your class?
