Anyone else doing March Madness?

Anne Koschmider

It's that time of year again! I feel like I tweak March Madness a bit each year.

This year, my on-level world history students will be determining the most influential innovation in history using this bracket.

AP World students will be determining the most influential person in history with this bracket.

Each day we open class with discussion, then students vote via Google Form.

Is anyone else doing March Madness? If so, how are you approaching it?

Well, so far we have gunpowder still in the running. However, firearms lost to the printing press in the Sweet Sixteen. That is generating a lot of commentary!

Vladmir Lenin is also generating some very close matches. He won out over Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong by one point in each match!
