Anyone else doing March Madness?

It's that time of year again! I feel like I tweak March Madness a bit each year.

This year, my on-level world history students will be determining the most influential innovation in history using this bracke t .

AP World students will be determining the most influential person in history with this bracket.

Each day we open class with discussion, then students vote via Google Form.

Is anyone else doing March Madness? If so, how are you approaching it?

Wait..... this is kind of genius. I'm obsessed with this. But will probably be doing this in several weeks while we review for the AP exam. NOT during March of course.

I like how these are organized by different time as well. I'm going to try and color code mine a little to make that clearer too.

Do you have a rough estimate of how long this took you to do during class?

Also two other things: I think I'm going to try and create a version of this that exists for World Events from history.

AND, I'm also going to try and assign "seed numbers" to the different inventions that way students feel like there could be upsets.
