Anyone else doing March Madness?

It's that time of year again! I feel like I tweak March Madness a bit each year.

This year, my on-level world history students will be determining the most influential innovation in history using this bracke t .

AP World students will be determining the most influential person in history with this bracket.

Each day we open class with discussion, then students vote via Google Form.

Is anyone else doing March Madness? If so, how are you approaching it?

Anne Koschmider Not exactly sure how to do the seed numbers, but I think I'm going to try and just rank them by how important I think they are at an initial glance. I may or may not throw some curveballs so the kids have some things to be upset about too haha.

You could use Polleverywhere to survey your department, staff or even former students to get the seedings.

Update: here are the brackets that I'm using! I've added some people and inventions, as well as seed numbers, and I'm printing a bracket for each kid: drive.google.com/.../view

Wayne Zhang I love how this turned out! I think the way you laid out the scoring will be helpful for students. I hope your students have fun with this!
