Have you used tools like TimelineJS, ArcGIS StoryMaps, or CODAP in your classroom? If not any of those tools, what resources and tools have you used? What successes or challenges have you faced?

    I have never used TimelineJS, but I have used timetoast.com for students to create annotated timelines. Years ago, I had my World I students create an annotated timeline about ancient and classical Greece, including 5 events that they thought were the most significant. Students were required to write an 'ID' essentially with a topic sentence, a description of the event, and the significance. I think this would be a good review idea for my AP World students for the AP Exam, in which I would have students pick 10 events from the year, or from each time period to select as the most important in groups. I have also dabbled with ArcGIS however, I prefer GoogleMaps to create annotated maps.
