Introducing HIPstory into the Classroom - John Zingale

Inquiry is difficult work for teachers but the rewards far outweigh those costs. Hands-on individualized project-based learning gives students ownership of their learning and allows them to make real-world connections between the content they are studying and their own lives. By creating inquiry-based projects that suit our students’ interests, we can teach them both the content and the skills needed to be successful in life and how to “do history”.
