Teaching Students to Create and Control Their Learning - Judith Jeremie

What might happen if you gave your students more control over their learning? It’s a scary thought because it means we would have to relinquish control. We would have to act as the learning guide in the classroom, rather than the content and skills expert. While it might be terrifying to do so, the reward is having your students feel as though they have ownership of their learning and it teaches them to be inquisitive learners both inside and outside of the classroom.
