Building meaningful connections with each student in our classrooms is a powerful tool, but first we must understand our own lens and the individual realities of our students. Join me on an exploration of how the lessons I learned raising my White and Biracial children at home changed the work I do in the classroom. By better understanding ourselves and the importance of the individual narratives of our students, we can make a difference.
