OER Project’s most common form of texts, articles represent a large majority of the content in our courses. These secondary sources are typically 1,000 to 1,500 words and are meant to provide an engaging narrative that helps students learn about key events, people, and concepts. All articles include visuals that provide additional context for readers. Our author list includes more than 30 names, with the core content written by OER Project historians.
