OER Project leverages infographics to teach key concepts, ensuring students retain vital information throughout the units. Infographics engage students with various forms of media literacy, foster critical-thinking skills, and promote flexible and creative thinking. Infographics combine data, images, and explanatory text to enhance reading comprehension and embed information in memory. Additionally, infographics are engaging and fun, and compared to blocks of text, they help reduce cognitive load.
