OER Project courses are the right fit for Michigan schools in more ways than one.
- World History Project (WHP) 1200 to the Present aligns with the vast majority of Michigan’s world history and geography courses and Michigan’s Social Studies Standards. While Michigan’s world history course starts at 300 CE, the WHP 1200 course can be easily adapted to fit that periodization.
- In addition, Big History Project is an excellent fit for Michigan seventh-grade students and supports the rigor and standards of the C3 Framework.
Explore the courses mentioned above at your own pace, and once you’re ready to dive into planning, check out the tailored resources below to get started!
