Assessing Historical Thinking Live Discussion

Learning historical thinking skills in tandem with content is difficult for most students. They must learn to contextualize the multiple perspectives of historical narratives, source their claims, and grapple with causes and consequences – all without falling prey to presentism.

Moderated by Ebony McKiver, Social Studies Education Specialist for the Nebraska Department of Education  with panelists Anne Koschmider and Carly Fox.  Both Anne and Carly also share their perspectives and ideas for Assessing Historical Thinking in short, recorded track talks.
