How can we pique student interest in the social studies classroom? One way is by activating their curiosity. Three ideas for sparking student curiosity are outlined in this video including introducing a lesson with historical images, ending a lesson with provocative questioning, and by designing a collaborative structure within the lesson. Sparking student interest helps them make meaning of history and makes learning stick.
