I enjoyed the pre-reading about how the AP US Government and Politics course can be done in a way that is more engaging for students in Reinventing the High School Government Course: Rigor, Simulations, and Learning from Text. I am wondering if anyone knows of this kind of work being done with other AP social studies courses. It seems like many AP teachers are concerned more with coverage than engaging all of their students with deep, engaging learning.
