To determine if inservice points may be awarded for participation in this conference, Florida educators will need to work with their respective school or district’s professional learning office. A current list of professional learning directors for each school district can be found on the Florida Department of Education’s website. Idaho teachers should fill out the conference participation verification form below. Upon receipt of the certificate, teachers need to take the certificate of completion to their school office and get the training signed off on our form.

Illinois

The University of Illinois will directly send teachers their Evidence of Completion form upon completion of the following steps: first, Illinois teachers must submit the conference participation verification form (linked below) within one week of the conference. Please submit the completed form to ocforss@oerproject.com to receive a certificate of attendance within 3-5 business days. Please add "Illinois" into the subject of your email.

After submitting the conference participation verification form, IL teachers must then complete the iSBE-required activity evaluation form, which is also linked below. After completing both these steps, IL teachers will receive their Evidence of Completion form by email.

The OC for SS has partnered with the Michigan Council for History Education to offer SCECH hours for conference attendance. After the conference, Michigan teachers should complete the Google Form below. You should receive your SCECH documentation within 3-5 business days after submitting the form. To be eligible to receiving continuing education credit contact hours, Ohio teachers must have an approved Individualized Professional Development Plan (IPDP) on file with their Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC). If your IPDP is approved, please complete OER’s Professional Development Evaluation and Clock Hours Verification Form. Please submit the completed form to ocforss@oerproject.com to receive your certificate of attendance within 3-5 business days. Once you receive your certificate, submit the certificate of attendance to your local LPDC.
