OER Project is the right fit for Ohio schools in more ways than one:
- World History Project (WHP) 1750 to the Present is ideal for students taking the modern world history course, and it’s aligned to the vast majority of Ohio’s Learning Standards for Social Studies for Modern World History. While Ohio’s world history course begins in 1600, the WHP 1750 course can be easily adapted to fit that periodization.
- In addition, Big History Project is an excellent option for middle-school students to establish an interdisciplinary foundation in historical and critical thinking.
